Is Sarah Palin Smarter Than a Third Grader?

Posted (seano) in Miscellaneous on October-22-2008

I literally LOLed at this Campaign Comment from Keith Olbermann.

How can anyone vote for the ticket with this woman on it?

A woman who, while seemingly genial enough, you betcha, has not grasped the fundamental aspects of the job she is running for — a relatively straightforward position at that?  A woman who has a 1 in 4 chance of succeeding to the most powerful leadership position in the world?

Would a manager at McDonald’s hire a teenager would couldn’t wrap their head around the intricacies of the Fry Making Machine?

My friends, it is all a big joke.  A joke.  The GOP has made a mockery of the presidential campaign process.  And Republican voters (like me, only voting for 1 Democrat this year: Mr. Barack Hussein Obama) should be angered and insulted that this is their “best ticket”.

Somewhere, Mitt Romney is smiling and shaking his head…

Palin Doesn’t Read Newspapers Either

Hoooo boy, the hits just keep comin’:

Now, the problem here — I think — is that this entire Couric debacle is setting the bar for Sarah Palin so low, that any performance at Thursday’s debate that is the least bit watchable, without barnburning gaffes, will exceed expectations. And the resulting skewed perception will be: “Hey, she’s not that bad.” And the blame will return to the asshole Liberal MainStream Media elitists who dare back a Vice Presidential candidate into a corner and grill her on what’s on her coffee table.

If Sarah Palin Were a Democrat…

… just imagine the field day (month?) the right-wing media would have.  This is 100% accurate and rings 5x as effective when you imagine the voices of Limbaugh, Hannity & O’Reilly doing the narration.

Forget What I Said Before. No, Really

The writers at the Daily Show must have a massive database of video clips and their textual annotations to be able to parse them all to find gems like this.  Watch Karl Rove as he heaps praise upon Sarah Palin for her governing experience in the fine metropolis of Wasilla, Alaska.  This after, oh wait, Karl Rove trashed Virginia governor Tim Kaine for only running the town of Richmond, Virginia.  Other flip-flops are featured in the clip.

Surely all politicians are adept at saying what’s right for the moment, but the Republicans are making history (re-writing it?) doing so in this 2008 Presidential election.
