I see a 10-6 season with a first-round playoff win ahead. But we are still a stud WR & sack producing D-Lineman short of a return trip to the Super Bowl.

Well, it was fun while it lasted, but the Flyers have succumbed to the superior puck handling of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Their defense was too slow & stodgy for the likes of Malkin & Crosby. Biron, who shone against the positional shooting of the Montreal Canadiens, seemed to be left frozen at times as the nimble Penguins shooters made flashy moves and stuffed quick rebounds. The swift skates of Briere and Carter could never produce any sustained offensive threats.

However, Pittsburgh Twidiots take note: your 4-1 drubbing is on deck.

Obama’s Speech On Race

You’ve probably heard about Barack Obama‘s speech on race, delivered in Philadelphia earlier this week. If you have about 1/2 hour — you can watch the entire speech here.

Say what you will about him, but the man is an orator. Kudos for coming out and saying that most whites are the descendants of immigrants, who’ve had to work for everything they’ve got. Also of note is that whites should stop worrying about “losing” jobs to minorities or immigrants, when jobs are being genuinely lost — never to return — to dirt cheap laborers overseas. If he’s sincere, that’s being an American.
